Your brain is a sneaky f*cker (and it’s messing with your money)

I noticed this on my walk the other morning.

I was thinking about my financial goal, my big, audacious goal, which, appropriately, feels a little bit scary. But also really good for me.

Then I caught myself thinking, “I need to make this much. I have to make up for years of being shitty with money.”

WTF? There it was, my old scarcity mode.

That underlying belief that I have to hit a certain financial goal....like it was a punishment for having had a difficult relationship with money in the past.

I also noticed an old dynamic: feeling like I have to do it all alone. That I’m the only one responsible for making sure I’m okay in retirement…because if I’m not, I’ll never stop working. And if I do, it’ll be a financial struggle.

So much of my own work around money—and what I teach my clients—has been about learning to lean into The Divine as my ultimate source.

Not clients.

Not insurance panels.

Not my certifications or methodology.

Not me pushing and overworking to “make it happen.”

(Now, that doesn’t mean you stop doing. Of course, you need to take aligned action. What it does mean is letting go of the belief that you're alone. It means giving up the identity of being The Doer, and instead learning to release, surrender, and ask for guidance and support.)

But I forget, too.

I forget that The Divine has my back and that as long as I trust Her, all of my needs will be met…whether or not I hit my exact financial goals.

That is such a relief to the nervous system...to know you're not alone.

That’s the foundation of healthy attachment: I am seen. I am delighted in. I matter. I am never alone.

And what if we set goals not as a form of self-punishment, but because they make life more fun, more easeful…simply because we are worthy?

This work is practical, regulating, and deeply spiritual.

The goal is to bring the unconscious into consciousness.

And when you start doing that, you begin to catch the bullshit your brain tries to feed you.

You question the stories you’ve always told yourself.

And then… you start taking action from a place of a wealth mindset—where the world is abundant, there’s always enough, and you will always be supported.

All of this opens up the flow of wealth.

I dive deeper into the science and the healing practices behind this in my free upcoming workshop, Stop Stressing, Start Receiving—and it’s happening July 30 at 11am MT.

If you know you’re meant for more but keep falling back into old money patterns, this is your invitation.

Come reclaim your peace, power, and prosperity.
