On quitting…

When you wake up tired and defeated, and the voice in your head whispers:

“I should just stop. Give up.”

Listen.

But don’t take the message at face value.

Listen for the deeper meaning.

What do you really need to stop?

  • People pleasing?

  • Trying so fricken hard?

  • Believing your mind’s old BS?

  • Ignoring your boundaries?

  • Pushing yourself to exhaustion?

  • Needing to control every outcome?

  • Obsessing over tangible results?

  • Trampling your emotions and physical needs?

I’m the queen of pushing past my limits...

And when the crash comes, I think I want to quit.

This is the moment to keep going but not by pushing harder or overriding your needs.

You keep going by stopping.

Stop the striving. Stop the pushing.

Become quiet.

Sit back. Let go. Rest.

Nourish your nervous system. Ask for guidance.

These are the days...maybe even weeks...when the desire to quit is calling you into stillness.

Where you do less so you can hear more.

So you can keep going...but this time, with more love and gentleness.

Listen for the quiet drops of wisdom from your intuition.

This may feel counterintuitive.

It is in direct opposition to the masculine, hustle-focused model of business and marketing.

But by doing less, you create space for peace, and from that peace, aligned action is created.

Action that builds a business you no longer want to quit.
